Eaton is currently hiring for a Vice President of Operations for the Electrical Sector Americas business. This role is based at Eaton's Moon Township, PA location and relocation within hiring country is offered.

The Vice President of Operations reports to Mike Yelton, President of Eaton's Electrical Sector Americas business, and has oversight for all manufacturing functions - including quality, continuous improvement, manufacturing strategy and 4.0. As a strategic leader in the business, this role is responsible for driving operational excellence throughout more than 50 plants and 8 Distribution Centers.
The Electrical Sector America's business is over $13 billion in revenue and over 34,000 employees across 15+ countries. It's divided into 3 Groups: Protection, Control and Solutions, Energy Solutions & Services, and Assemblies and Residential Solutions - each led by a President that are peers to this role. Other peers on the senior leadership team include the functional experts of Engineering & Technology, Environmental Health & Safety, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Marketing and Strategy, Human Resources, Finance, and North American Sales.

Position Description:

The VP of Operations will create and execute strategies to improve operational efficiency, improve throughput, manage expenses, and uphold quality and safety standards. Collaborating with other senior leaders, the SVP aligns operations with business goals and drives continuous improvement.
As a value-driven leader, the VP standardizes processes, implements best practices, and leverages technology for productivity, in addition to fostering talent development, mentoring a high-performing team, and cultivating a culture of excellence to meet operational goals.

Essential Functions:
• Contribute as a member of the senior leadership team of Electrical Sector - Americas by embracing the full responsibility of being an Eaton leader that extends beyond simply offering functional expertise to the business.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve short and long-term business objectives.
• Set a vision for the operations of Electrical Sector Americas, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and reduce costs.
• Develop and manage operating budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Represent ES-A in executive functional meetings and provide regular updates to top

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum fifteen (15) years' experience in operations management within the manufacturing industry
• Minimum ten (10) years' experience managing teams and developing talent for future leadership roles
• Experience leading the operations for a multibillion dollar revenue business or organization
• Experience leading the operations for a international, multi site business

Preferred Qualifications:
• Masters Degree from an accredited institution
• Global operations experience in industrial manufacturing operations, preferably within the electrical industry
• Experience leading the operations for a >5BL revenue business or organization, within a highly matrixed organization
Position Success Criteria:
• Experience successfully working in matrixed organizations and working with diverse teams.
• Experience managing large budgets.
• Experience with global operations and managing multi-site facilities.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $270000.0 - $396000.0 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
