Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Utility T&D Financial Coordinator.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $82500.03 - $121000.04 a year.

What you'll do:
The Utility T&D Field Services Team is a quickly growing team of highly skilled technicians who support Protection and Control equipment used to provide protection to substations and other equipment on the transmission and distribution grid. We are a team of 12 technicians today support utility clients in the eastern states, with rapid growth planned nationally into 2026.

Position Overview:
The Financial Coordinator will provide order management and financial oversight of the Utility T&D Field Services team, as well as provide some limited resource management responsibilities. The Financial Coordinator is responsible for accurate sales order entry and invoicing. They will work closely with the Utility T&D Field Services Manager to track and meet financial performance targets including but not limited to: sales, orders, gross margin, inventory. The Financial Coordinator will manage incoming purchase orders and work with client accounts receivable teams to accurately account for payments and expenses. The Financial Coordinator will reconcile project costs (material and labor), and apply GAAP to manage Accounts Receivable/Payable and day-to-day operations. The Financial Coordinator will be, or will become, familiar with standard processes used by other Eaton field service groups (e.g. scheduling, shipping /receiving, document control) to ensure continuity and back-up.
In this function you will:
- Acknowledge all purchase orders, obtain proper insurance certificates and assure that terms and conditions are presented to customer
- Reconcile all purchase orders with the in-house negotiations to assure matching between promises and expectations
- Open orders on system to gather, track and reconcile costs associated with jobs.
- Issue purchase orders via Oracle Purchasing System or Salesforce
- Accurately reconcile and invoice orders via Oracle Project Costing or Salesforce systems.
- Complete various office administration responsibilities as required
- Assist in scheduling field service labor for customer jobs
- Obtain necessary test equipment and materials based on job requirements
- Occasionally assist in coordination of required trainings and equipment calibrations and replacements
- Support the Manager with administrative tasks related to onboarding new employees and coordination with the Eaton Training Team for tracking employee progress
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- Minimum Associate's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent military experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with cost accounting/experience managing general business tasks and communication in a corporate function

Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree; Business, Finance, Accounting, Management or Engineering preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of power distribution, control products, as well as field service practices and procedures, employee relations and quality programs.
- Experience working with utilities (electrical or otherwise) and familiarity with their business practices
- Experience working in Oracle and/or Salesforce
