What you'll do:

As a UPS Datacenter Technician you will work in a team, which provide service for the Eaton installed base products in customer site and ensure maximum customer satisfaction mostly in Malmö area. The majority of products and installed base in Sweden consists of UPS's and the primary function of the role is to perform UPS commissioning, service/repairs and periodic maintenance. You will be working on Eaton UPS's including the scoop from small 1-phase UPS to large data center UPS's up to 1200kVA. In this role you will support customers in technical questions (phone and/or mail), support colleagues in service department and sales with technical knowledge, also participate in required training (technical, mandatory by Eaton or by law).   • Responsible for performing commissioning, service, repair and preventive maintenance on Eaton's Installed Base/products.
  • Proactively be involved in scheduling/planning of works.
  • Actively support and work to be in line with goals and performance KPI's
  • Secure time reporting and technical reports are done in connection to each individual work.
  • Acting as mentor for new employed FSE.
  • Attending all mandatory trainings provided in accordance with Eaton policy.
  • Working and acting in line with Eaton guidelines, processes and code of ethics.
  • Cooperate with Project Managers in projects supporting in plannig and commissioning scheduling.
  • Offer support for high profile clients, providing technical advice and attending site visits as required.
  • Maintain direct links with business units (HPO) in technical issues.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant electrical or electrician field of studies
  • Working experience in the field, preferably with UPS, 1-phase/3-phase systems, battery backup and emergency supply solutions.
  • Customer focused attitude with strong communication skills
  • Able to work individually and with minimal supervision
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude in order to follow instructions
  • Good level of English and Swedish language is required
