Trainee - Commercial Finance

What you'll do:

This position is part of a team of analysts that supports the Commercial Finance CoE. It's primarily responsible for supporting projects, database management and reporting of data related to Finance, Sales, Pricing. This position demands for candidate who has fair understanding of Finance and Pricing, basics terminologies used to day-to-day business communication. An energetic critical thinker, keen eye for details and able to interpret meaning from data.

Major duties, functions and key responsibilities but not limited to are as follows:
A. Manage databases and homegrown tools and identify ways to use existing data in more productive ways.
B. Possess knowledge and experience in the acquisition, analysis, and display of data; and in extraction of information and knowledge from that data in supports decision making to business leaders.
C. Work on process efficiency by automation and smart analytics to remove redundant activities in operation processes.
D. Provide ongoing analytical support to Business Division and various levels of management in the organization related to Sales and Finance or other related reporting.
E. Support in executing projects of strategic importance in the areas of Commercial Finance and Analytics.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Graduate in Mathematics, Business, Economics. MBA Finance/ Marketing degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience - Manufacturing Industry exposure preferred.

Skills:

• Working shift IST12:00 to 21:00 however needs to stretch beyond the shift and be flexible based on the requirements.
• Structured approach to Problem solving, strong analytical skills.
• Business proficiency in the following areas is required:
• Strong business acumen
• Understanding of Finance/ Pricing concepts and terminology.
• Ability to manage a large amount of transactional data and determine trends.
• Good organizational and time management skills, strong analytical skills and the inter-personal skills to interact with all levels of management.
• Highly motivated individual with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Technical proficiency in following areas is required:
• MS- Excel, SQL
• Microsoft Power BI experience required.
• ERP experience preferred.
