Our EMEA Business Service Center (BSC) in Budapest is Eaton's largest office in the region. What you'll do:

This role supports key EATON operational and customer service functions, including configuration handling for DualGuard and Loadstar materials, bid management support, and order entry execution. It also provides technical backup for Emergency Lighting products in the UK, contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, and helps drive customer satisfaction.

The Technical Support Engineer back up act as a first point of escalation for inquiries and troubleshooting on hardware and software cases, starting from commissioning resolutions, pre-sales and post-sales inquiries. Support the process documentation and knowledge sharing sessions, tools deployment and contribute to increase the customer satisfaction and the technical knowledge within the team.

- Process orders through the DualGuard/Loadstart configurator.
- Initiate action within 24 hours of receiving request.
- Actively contribute to the effective organization and daily delivery of all aspects of the tasks through various resources - people, process and technology.
- Technical Support back up for Emergency Ligthing products for the UK market (Phone calls & Cases)
- Provide support in follow up the installed base and track the commissioning with creation of daily/weekly/monthly team reporting tools.
- Participate on CI projects and initiatives to increase productivity and add value from team and BSC activities.
- Drive customer loyalty through quality of service, improved value and through a high performance culture.

Qualifications:

- Electrical/Electronic Technician, Computer Science / Engineering

Skills:

  • Preferable to have some experience in the area of power distribution / industrial automation. Fresh graduates are also welcome.
  • Good understanding of electrical products and applications.
  • Analytical mindset, communication skills, problem solving, IT skills
