Technical Program Manager

Bolingbrook, IL

Eaton's Distributed IT group is currently seeking a Technical Program Manager to join their engineering team in Woodridge, IL. The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of complex new product introduction programs and initiatives.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80,250 - $117,700 a year.

What you'll do:

  • Manage new product introduction programs/projects based on the business strategy objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Track and report on program progress and metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with development projects.

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years of experience in program management following stage gate process.
  • No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of Woodridge, IL. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
  • PMP certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in program management following stage gate process, with a strong understanding of the waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Product development management experience of electronics products with embedded firmware / software and power electronics
  • Experience with Electronics manufacturing process.

Skills:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
