Eaton's ES AMER DIG division is currently seeking a Technical Product Owner.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $112500.0 - $165000.0 a year.

What you'll do:

In this role you will manage and execute all aspects of the product requirement backlog ensuring detailed user stories are ready for PI Planning and for execution by the product Scrum teams.

Responsibilities include:
• Participate and help drive the strategy for the Brightlayer Remote Monitoring solution for multiple Eaton segments

• Work with Offer Management to create, define and detail product requirements
• Own the technical vision and roadmap of the Remove Monitoring application and application framework suite
• Manage complex projects/programs involving multiple components for completeness, compatibility, and compliance.
• Assess trade-offs between business needs, technology requirements, cost, and risk.
• Use skills and technical knowledge to lead multiple large scale projects while working with global teams
• Partner with various business stakeholders and technology leaders to develop strategy, direction and lead the team to translate into technical solutions to drive business results / improvements in the division
• Serve as a technical SME related to device managment and device integration strategy in collaboration with Device Integration CoE
• Document and communicate technical requirements, UX designs, and implementation plans to program stakeholders.
• Work with development teams to prepare design and development estimates and project schedules
• Collaborate with other members of architects, developers, and technical leads, to evaluate solutions and gain consensus on technical direction.
• Provide leadership and expertise in the development of Agile standards
• Evaluate business requirements to determine potential solutions

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution
  • Minimum five (5) years of IT experience required.
  • Minimum of three (3) year's experience with Jira and Confluence
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Chicago, IL or Raleigh, NC will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Must legally be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Skills:

  • Technical knowledge: A candidate would gain a solid understanding of the technical aspects related to cloud applications. This includes knowledge of software development methodologies, programming languages, databases, and system architecture.
  • Project Management Skills: Effective project management is essential for success. A candidate would gain solid expertise with managing a product backlog, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Communication and Analytical Abilities: Excellent communication skills are vital. A candidate would gain the ability to convey technical requirements clearly to the development team and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
