Eaton's ES AMER Sector Integration division is currently seeking a Technical Product Manager-Cloud Product. This is a remote position and candidates must be based in the US to be considered.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year.

What you'll do:

The Technical Product Manager-Cloud Product is responsible for maximizing the value of the Brightlayer Data Center & Industrial Cloud products (i.e. offerings) by creating and managing the offering roadmap under the direction of the industry offer manager (i.e. business owner). This role creates detailed technical and non-technical requirements that are in turn executed by the development teams in the Agile Release Train (ART). The TPM will communicate the voice of the customer (VOC) and the market strategy as applied to the offering in the process. This position will direct the engineering teams on software excellence, output and performance, and software requirements while helping to ensure the execution of the offer roadmap and guiding the offer development lifecycle.

In this function you will:

-Partner and work with development teams, sales, and business owners to ensure we are delivering the best solutions at the right time.
-Responsible for detailing customer personas and customer journeys for the offer defined by business owner.
-Help drive the design thinking process and interact with customers to meet their requirements and aspirations.
-Develop feature definition with acceptance criteria and prioritize the offer backlog for software release iterations according to commercial market needs of the business owner.
-Provide directions to the Technical Product Owner (TPO) and development teams who refine, estimate, and execute the feature development and iteration planning of the offer backlog for software releases.
-Update and provide feedback on the offer roadmap with software release iterations to be used as input for commercial launches of new releases and go-to-market strategies.
-Communicate the voice of customer (VOC), gathered by business owners, to development teams as the customer and domain expert(s) representatives.
-Manage the overall offer program plan and ensure program participants deliver on time and within their allocated resources.
-Serve as the key day-to-day liaison with the development organization, business analysts, software architects, and multiple other internal partners, such as: cloud services, information technology (IT), platform operations (PlatOps), information security (InfoSec / SecOps), etc.
-Define USE cases and technical acceptance criteria to align the portfolio direction.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

-Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
-Minimum of two (2) years of experience with agile software projects using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
-Minimum of four (4) years of experience in IoT technologies

Preferred qualifications:

-A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a STEM-field.
-Two (2) years of experience with Data Center and/or Industrial software offerings
-Six (6) years of experience directly engaged in the development of IoT products and/or services.

Position Criteria:

-Good mediator/negotiation capability
-Knowledge to consider feature scalability & interoperability
-Comprehensive understanding of the current trends and best-practices in web, mobile, and emerging technologies in Internet of things (IoT), software development, and adjacencies.
-Good practical knowledge of agile methodologies, product development, information and data science architecture, usability testing, and UX/UI.
-Good familiarity with the technical architectural considerations involved when designing for complex systems; in particular, systems involving machine learning and advanced streaming analytics.

-Ability to present technical concepts in a simple and intuitive way to software development teams.
-Experience with working on and directing the activities of highly geographically distributed development organizations.
-Knowledge of common software development technologies and toolsets, such as (but not limited to) Microsoft Teams, Jira, Confluence, Miro, BitBucket, Software Development Languages (Java, C++, Python), Data Exchange Formats (JSON, XML, CSV, YAML)
-Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences and at varying levels of the organization.
-Willing and able to accommodate working with various time zones, including Asia, Europe and North America on a daily basis.
