Eaton's ES AMER HQ MFGSC division is currently seeking a Team Lead-2nd Shift at our Duncan, SC location!

The hourly rate for this position is $24.00/hr per hour. The core hours are 3:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times, for example, a 9 hour hour shift (3:00 p.m.-12:30 a.m.) or a 10 hour shift (3:00 p.m.-1:30 a.m.).

What you'll do:

The team lead will assist the supervisor in scheduling and assigning daily production tasks, analyzing productivity data, and coordinating on-the-job training while ensuring compliance with site safety regulations.

In this function, you will:
• Assist the supervisor in managing daily distribution center (DC) operations.
• Monitor workload and allocate resources efficiently.
• Coordinate and oversee on-the-job (OJT) and safety training requirements.
• Actively participate in the OJT and safety team initiatives.
• Collect and analyze productivity and non-conformance data.
• Research and resolve minor operational issues, including troubleshooting internal and external customer inquiries.
• Recommend new strategies and proposals to support site scorecard categories and initiatives.
• Provide temporary instruction during the supervisor's absence for short durations.
• Support site safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Manage the kai-ban replenishment system and coordinate material handling with Warehouse (W34).
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures including following safety protocols and reporting hazards.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workplace.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing and or distribution environment
• Minimum of 1 year of reach truck and order picker experience
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the work location will be considered.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications
• Associate's Degree from an accredited institution.

• Must have strong verbal and written communication.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and people management abilities.
• Proficient in PC usage and familiar with key software applications, including Warehouse Management System (WMS), VISTA, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Must be able to learn on the job and adapt to changes.
• Must have a high level of concentration and keen attention to detail.
• Must be responsive to internal and external customer requests.
• Must have the capacity to exercise discretion and sound judgment in decision-making.
