The hourly rate for this position is $21.77 per hour.

What you'll do:
Eaton's Commercial Product Assemblies division is currently seeking a Team Leader in Warehouse and Logistics to join our team on 1st shift. This position is based at our Greenwood, SC location. Hourly rate starting at $21.77.
Position Overview:
The warehouse and logistics team leader will be responsible for leading the personnel and production activities of material availability, flow and warehouse operations; plan and coordinate manufacturing or support schedules to effectively meet customer requirements and company commitments for product/service quality and timeliness, manage unit operations and schedules to ensure the most effective use of personnel, materials, equipment, and other company resources within assigned functional areas, within or below defined production or operational costs. Exhibits commitment to focus on defining processes and disciplined adherence to the Standard Work for Team Leaders. Directs team and communications with other shifts' leaders to ensure smooth hand-offs from shift-to-shift.

In this function you will:
You will lead the supply chain materials process to fulfill customer requirements/orders by producing quality products, safely, in a timely manner following Standard Work.
- Sustainment of 5S+ in all responsible areas.
- Provide leadership and direction for raw material warehouse including assembly parts storeroom and raw material storeroom (bar and housing) within the Hodges facility.
- Plan and direct the operations for warehouse department including optimizing material flow within the facility and with outside operations (paint/plating).
- Maintain high levels of quality in assigned areas of functional responsibility.
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all storage areas are to 5S standards. Ensure all material storage is compliant with EHS guidelines.
- Be responsible for following all safety policies and procedures, complying with WSRA's, and wearing proper PPE. Any safety issue identified should be reported immediately to team lead, supervisor, or manager.
- Follow standard operating procedures and method sheets.
- Ensure excess & obsolete material is identified, approved, and disposed in timely fashion. Responsible for taking actions around Inventory profile.
- Work with local rehab facility to ensure proper planning around material availability of assembled parts.
- Guide and oversee work operations to respond positively to unusual situations, changes, material shortages, and varying manpower requirements.
- Responsible for overall inventory management within the facility by ensuring inventory controls and that transactions and balances are accurate.
- Use appropriate lift assist or partner lift when moving material/products. May lift and carry up to 40 lbs and push or pull up to 100 lbs.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred qualifications:
- At least 1 year of leadership experience managing people or project teams.
- Prior experience working in warehousing, storeroom and/or shipping
- Prior experience with lead or supervisor role
- Collaborate with team members.
- Ensure shipping components meet quality standards.
- Being flexible and open to changes in processes or tasks.
- Able to work independently with minimum direction.
