System Architect - Data Science and AI

What you'll do:

At Eaton India Innovation Center, the Digital office is currently seeking a technical Leader to join our team!
This position is based at our office in Magarpatta City, Pune. As the technical leader for the Centre for Intelligent power (CIP) part of Digital office development team, you will provide leadership to global technology teams working on IoT and connected device solutions . You will contribute along with engineering leaders by setting priorities and goals, ensuring the achievement of deliverables and other milestones, collaborations with other teams, establishing a progressive work culture and improving standards in how we deliver to our customers.

A successful candidate for this role will have prior experience in Data Engineering , AI/ML technologies, Cloud platforms like Azure, AWS , You are passionate and excited about technology and are able to apply a balance between new technologies and the needs of customers. You are driven, thrive in globally distributed team environments, and possess an energizing leadership style that influences and drives change. You have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and tasks while adapting quickly to changing priorities."

• Ability to create new/adjacent solutions/services in the IoT space in order to enhance the customer life time value of the products in the Eaton portfolio
• Act as a technical mentor and expert tech reviewer in domain. Review and approve Architecture/Design proposals based on requirements/statement of work and present to stakeholders/customers
• Continuously develop and contribute to enhancing the technical capabilities of the teams to provide best in class design in line with present and future business needs
• Influencing role in the creation of technology road map based on Product/COE Strategy globally and deploy them within the group and build organization's capability
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders , ecosystem partners to enhance the value proposition and quality of the engineering deliverables

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer science or Electronics Engineering
  • 18-20 years in SW domains like Data science, AI/ML, Cloud , Distributed systems

Skills:

• Strong SW domain expertise and proven track record of creating solution architecture (fit for purpose) for IoT based products

Strong working(hands on knowledge) of
• Cloud/Web technologies (either MS Azure or AWS) with clear understanding of tenancy (Single/Multi), Federated identity management etc
• AI/ML model development and deployment
• CI/CD pipeline constructs /architectures for Dev/ML ops
• SW craftsmanship techniques for "clean code" architectures
• SW Design patterns and application of the same
• TDD and BDD techniques"
• Innovation Leadership - Is good at bringing the creative ideas of others to market, has good judgment about which creative ideas and suggestions will work, Has a sense about managing the creative process
• Problem Solving - Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, Probes all fruitful sources for answers, Can see hidden problems, Is excellent at honest analyses Look beyond the obvious and doesn't stop at the first answers
