Supply Chain Specialist - 1st Shift

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Specialist - 1st Shift to join our team on Badger Dr. in Waukesha, WI!

The hourly rate for this position is $20.80 per hour.

The core hours are 7 am - 3 pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

What you'll do:

The Supply Chain Specialist releases and prepares production orders for assembly and fabrication operations. You will maintain and manage SAP master data to ensure that purchased and manufactured parts are supplied properly. You will manage indirect material supplies and purchases as necessary to support manufacturing operations.

In this function, you will:
• Release and prepare production orders for dispatch to production floor
• Coordinate the printing, pouching and delivery of production orders to production floor
• Add critical documentation, reference drawings, and SAP reports to production pouches as required
• Run SAP production order close reports to assist with the generation of standard hours, utilization, and productivity reporting
• Perform SAP material coding for newly designed components to set procurement codes and ensure that BOMS and production routings are generated accurately
• Manage indirect material inventories and procure materials as necessary to support production operations
• Organize production orders for dispatch by work center and release date to ensure that those releases are in alignment with equipment and production priorities
• Process, troubleshoot, and print order release failures
• Support OPEX department with the procurement of materials used for visual controls on the manufacturing floor.

• Submit service requests and order supplies to maintain equipment used to print production orders
• Complete expense reports as required and submit them for approval in a timely manner

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of SAP experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an Engineered to Order environment
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with indirect purchasing

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
