Supply Chain Scheduling Supervisor
Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Scheduling Supervisor. This position will be located at our Jackson, MI facility.
The Supply Chain Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for leading and executing the conversion of the Master Schedule provided by the Network Planning team into an operational one-to-four-week schedule for the manufacturing facility after aligning with the internal manufacturing capacity. Other responsibilities include customer service activities associated with the delivery of specific customer products and audits as required. In this role, you will be expected to train and educate direct reports on the use of various business systems, varieties of reports and other related tools to ensure timely and economical completion of customer requirements. This position plays a key role as a leader within the High Performance Work Teams.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year.

What you'll do:
• Be responsible for level loading daily production schedules through analyzing resource capacity and other constraints to optimize through-put, while minimizing manufacturing cycle time, inventory, and achieving on-time delivery goals.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills through effective communication and coordination with multiple functional groups (including Operation, Customer Service, Finance, and Purchasing).
• Direct and prioritize daily workflow (WIP - "work in process") through analysis of reports and input from cross-functional teams.
• Align and set priorities for resources and shared resources across factory to maximize efficiency and material flow to ensure customer ship schedules on time.
• Assist in the development and implementation of procedures and techniques which will improve the scheduling function.
• Analyze data, including enterprise requirements planning information and prepares consolidated managerial reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure plant/product line optimal supply chain execution.
• Ensure correct planning parameters, including manufacturing LT, are utilized in order execution systems (such as MFGPro) to ensure proper order generation.
• Manage and evaluate operational performance of the production schedulers in order to facilitate performance management, merit promotions, job transfers, dismissals, commendations, etc.
• Support and promote continuous improvement activities within the planning team and the plant.
• Coordinate with customer service and the demand team to resolve any current and potential issues concerning sales orders.
• Play a key leadership role in site Physical Inventory.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in supply chain.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience supporting a manufacturing environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
• This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Jackson, MI will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Experience with SAP.
• Experience with Power Bi and Power Query.
Position Success Criteria:
• Thorough knowledge of industry, complex machined materials management, lean manufacturing, MRP/ERP, and MFG Pro.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization (customers, marketing, engineering, quality, and manufacturing).
• Desire to work in a collaborative environment with strong ability to take action and get results.
• Ability to quickly analyze, identify and implement opportunities and corporate initiatives for improvement that have a measurable impact each year.
