Supply Chain Manager - ANZ

At Eaton Electrical, we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to manage the Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) division and report directly to the Head of Finance. Based in Mascot, this role is accountable for ensuring the effective stewardship of Supply Chain, Materials Management and Procurement functions that support the growth objectives of the ANZ division.

We are looking for a hands-on leader to get involved in supply chain processes whilst also developing and implementing strategies to support ANZ's procurement and fulfilment objectives towards process improvement, inventory reduction, Just in Time product availability, low-cost country sourcing, and improve market competitiveness.

Key Duties:

  • Functional leadership for Supply Chain in ANZ including establishing vision, scope, and strategy that supports the country objectives whilst supporting and aligning with APAC /Sector SCM goals.
  • Alignment of resources and process to ensure efficient end to end customer delivery experience to the committed date of delivery
  • Responsible for driving SIOP process for ANZ and modeling supply chain Management a core competency of ANZ division.
  • Management of supplier's relationship onboarding vendor process, contracts negotiation and certifications to meet quality requirements
  • Provide local governance, leadership, and opportunities for leveraging scale and spend across businesses. At a minimum, this will include indirect procurement, logistics, and trade management & risk.
  • Ensure alignment of ANZ teams with the APAC Corporate SCM Indirect, Logistics and TM teams and with respective BU SCM leaders.
  • Provide competitive advantage to global SCM organizations by transitioning transactional, reporting and analytics work to APAC based Shared Service center to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience across supply chain management is essential, including more than 5 years of management experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Purchasing or similar and post graduate qualifications highly regarded
  • Exceptional ability to conceptualize large-picture projects and foresee challenges and needs to be addressed
  • Experience managing and improving supply chain data, information and processes, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Actively seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain by streamlining steps and locating the best prices for inventory
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems such as Oracle is highly regarded
  • Advanced Excel skills and Microsoft Office highly regarded
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and stakeholder management
