Basic function:
Ensure the operation of production equipment and machinery by defining priorities with maintenance technicians, applying preventive maintenance as a priority, predictive, corrective, problem-solving, improving machinery and its related systems, committing to meet safety, environmental, quality, on-time delivery goals at 100% and reducing waste, conducting yourself at all times in accordance with Eaton's ethics and values.

Main responsibilities and authority:
• Responsible for coordinating maintenance technician support to production based on planning priorities.
• Responsible for monitoring HxH with technicians to ensure corrective actions during the shift or plan corrections during downtime.
• Responsible for coordinating planned activities assigned to maintenance technicians (EHS cards, ideas, TPM cards, etc.).
• Responsible for creating activity plans for weekends and support shifts.
• Responsible for ensuring the availability of production equipment in optimal operating conditions, maintaining constant communication with the Production Supervisor and Engineering, following the escalation plan.
• Participates with Engineering (Reliability and/or Manufacturing) in equipment failure data and trend analysis (OEE, DT, MTBF, MTTR) and facilitates resources for the execution of improvement projects for recurrent failures, waste elimination, scrap reduction, cost savings, safety, quality, and error proofing, monitoring assigned activities to DRs.
• Shares knowledge and trains on production machine operation aspects to personnel as required.
• Complies with and monitors training courses assigned by the Human Resources department with their team.
• Ensures their DRs apply safety and environmental principles, regulations, and methodology to prevent accidents (LOTO, permits, waits, etc.).
• Ensures their DRs apply quality principles, regulations, and methodology to prevent scrap or customer complaints.
• Participates or leads continuous improvement activities in their area, primarily in TPM RIE events, cost savings, safety, error proofing, or PSK.
• Ensures their team fills out the logbook/CMMS to record lessons learned and equipment opportunities to manage necessary activities for closure.
• Verifies tooling and spare parts inventory for Maintenance.
• Purchases and/or monitors spare parts (spot buys) for their business unit, contacts tool shops and MRO, and monitors purchases for their DRs, monitoring the process (approvals to invoicing).
• Provides feedback to update/robust preventive maintenance, TPMs, ETRs, etc., based on equipment failure history and machinery experience.
• Ensures accuracy in critical spare parts (setup, availability, and reorder points).
• Monitors compliance against the forecast or budget for their business unit.
• Performs supervisory activities promptly (Development plans, 1:1, Payroll, permits, coverage, etc.).
• Follows their LSW and ensures monitoring of their DRs.
Required Qualifications:
- Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance degree or related
- Relevant experience in Industrial Maintenance (not necessarily as a technician, but with proven experience in the area).
- Knowledge in reading and interpreting technical drawings and equipment schematics.
- Knowledge Mechanics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electronics (including PLCs, servomotors, CNCs, robots, etc.), and Electricity.
- Knowledge of LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), Equipment Safety, Electrical Safety, Industrial Vehicle Safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., NR10, NR12, etc.)
- Proven leadership experience is mandatory.
- This position is for the second shift. To be considered for the selection process, candidates must be available to work during this shift.
Others qualifications:
• Knowledge of measurement systems and devices (LVDT's, Distance Sensors).
• Knowledge of ultrasonic welding systems.
• Knowledge of pressure drop leak testing systems (Positive/Negative).
• Knowledge of lifting and transportation systems (Conveyors/Cranes).
• General knowledge of machine and tool handling.
• Desirable knowledge of Lab View.
• Technical English is desirable.
• Continuous Improvement Competencies: Intermediate level of TPM, 5's, SW, PSK, SUR. Foundation level for VSM, TVSM tools.

Additional Information:
ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITY
• Separate dangerous residues from the normal trash
• Place the dangerous residues (gloves, cloths, etc.) in the assigned containers.
• Maintain area clean and free of contaminants.
• Not waste of water or electricity.
• Report any activity that can put in risk my safety and environment.
• Identify and give adequate disposition to all chemical products, which can contaminate the environment.
• Acting immediately in chemists' discharge case.
• Ensure the rights containers for disposition of dangerous residues (identifying containers and containers to prevent discharge)
