What you'll do:

Job summary

Lead SIOP process throughout Costa Rica plant and ensure alignment between market/customer demand, plant capacity, availability of finish goods and inventory levels.
Manage, develop, and maintain the master demand schedule, master production schedule and material requirement planning trough the ERP system to ensure materials availability and on time delivery,
Lead production planning team.

Job responsibilities

1. Leads SIOP process from the SCM area and forecast demand process
2. Develops and executes the local fabrication inventory plan in order to meet profit and inventory targets and goals.
3. Balances current and future requirements with manufacturing capability and demand, in order to proactively implement the production plan to meet customer requirements.

4. Negotiates with cross-functionally within the organization to meet plant delivery requirements in order to fulfill customer needs.
5. Analyzes higher level data, including enterprise requirement planning information, develops multiple outcomes, and prepares reports as needed to make recommendations and execute the plan in order to optimize plant operations.
6. Analyzes product flow through the organization at an advanced level, drives improvement of the product flow in order to meet business objectives and ensures on time delivery.
7. Supports plant cost reduction programs in order to achieve overall objectives.
8. Keeps adherence to the safety guides, procedures and environmental issues related to the position, as prescribed by MESH.
9. Complies with the responsibilities of the position in relation with all the EATON managements systems (MESH, LEAN, EQS, EMMAC, EBE. ISO)

Qualifications:

Education level required

  • Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline or full bachelor degree in any area as long as candidate has formal experience in field

Years and area of experience

  • Four years minimum experience in Planning / Two years minimum experience in Leadership positions

Skills:

Technical knowledge / Conocimientos técnicos

  • Knowledge of MRP, CPIM / APICS, Lean, Six Sigma, Green Belt (Troubleshooting Tools)
  • Upper intermediate (B2) knowledge of English Language
  • Computer application and ERP skills (SAP, Word, Excel and Power Point)

Soft skills

  • Excellent relationship skills

  • Customer service oriented
