Eaton's AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Shipping/Receiving II - 2nd shift.

The hours for this role are 3:00pm - 12:30am

The hourly rate for this position is $24.00 per hour.

What you'll do:

Summary: Responsible for accurate physical receiving of materials/product in order to maintain integrity of inventory control. Ensure delivery of materials/product to the proper department.

• Count, weigh, or measure items of incoming shipment in order to verify information against sales orders/customer requirements, bills of lading or other records
• Examine and unpack incoming or outgoing shipments, reject damaged items
• Examine incoming shipments to ensure they meet specifications
• Operate lift truck or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage area
• Check on inbound inventory and administer the processing/shipment
• Trace and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
• Responsible for monitoring the returns process
• Sort, count, identify, verify and track all material by utilizing Oracle to maintain accurate inventory records
• Verify shipments and log them according to required procedures
• Investigate and resolve situations where items received are not properly documented in the daily receipt log
• Assist management in recycling material in the warehouse
• Cooperate with representatives from other departments in the organization to provide warehouse information as requested
• Perform regular material warehouse audits to ensure that material is undamaged and maintained neatly throughout the warehouse
• Ensure that all documents and material used in the warehouse are of satisfactory quality
• Safely utilize forklifts and power jacks to move warehouse materials according to proper safety instructions and as directed

Qualifications and Experience

Required:
• Minimum of 1 year of shipping and/or receiving experience OR 1 year of military experience
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred:
• HS Diploma or Associates Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology
• Shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing, One Piece Flow, and Continuous Improvement concepts
