Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk.

The hours for this role are 7 am- 3pm

The hourly rate for this position is $27.99 per hour.

What you'll do:

The shipping and recieving clerk will coordinate the timely and accurate flow of finished goods and raw materials, involving duties like receiving and unloading trucks, inspecting shipments, verifying inventory, preparing outgoing packages, generating shipping documents, and maintaining accurate records and a clean workspace. This role ensures the smooth operation of a company's supply chain through meticulous attention to detail and efficient handling of both incoming and outgoing products

  • Unload, unpack, and process incoming deliveries of raw materials and supplies.
  • Inspect incoming goods for any damage or discrepancies, verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Record, track, and store inventory accurately in its proper locations, and perform cycle counts to maintain inventory records.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare finished goods for shipment according to customer orders or internal distribution needs.
  • Generate and manage all necessary shipping documents, such as Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, and shipping labels.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external shipping partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of outgoing products.
  • Maintain accurate logs of daily moves, inventory, and shipment status.
  • Keep the receiving and shipping areas clean, organized, and ready for efficient operations.
  • Set up and operate saws and chamfering machines to perform various cutting operations using scales and tape measure for measurement of stock
  • Move parts between departments.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving, in a manufacturing envorpment
  • Must live within 50 miles of Rumford, RI
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
