Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Shipping Clerk.

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.

What you'll do:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Parcel Support Clerk

• Prevent and troubleshoot logistics incidents that may cause or had caused in-transit delays.
• Create and process BOL for assigned outbound shipments.
• Tracks, traces, update, and correct the status of outgoing shipments and any related shipping errors.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
• Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.

• Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
• Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
• Identifies and communicates opportunities for system related or operational improvements to their direct leader.
• Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility
• Works to maximize asset utilization to ensure full truckloads are being shipped.
• Responsible for driver load monitoring, including resolving any issues that may affect the scheduled times for pickup or delivery, while proactively communicating to the affected customer.
• Implement and support behavioral based zero incident safety culture.
• Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton's goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines and ensure they are consistently practiced.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with internal departments and external customers to expedite the workflow and ensure the established quality expectations.
• All duties assigned by management and deemed pertinent to the continued success of Company and employee objectives and/or goals

Qualifications:

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school diploma or GED required

Skills:

• Having both a Tactical and Strategic mindset while anticipating where issues may arise
• Ability to work thru roadblocks to achieve goals
• Time management, multi-tasking, ability to perform under pressure
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Accellos One WMS a plus
• Knowledge of MS Office tools, specifically Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements a plus
• Seizes opportunities and proactively takes concrete actions to complete tasks. Goes the "extra mile" and persistently overcomes obstacles to improve outputs.
• Takes an efficient, analytical approach to solve problems or produce outputs in an accurate and timely manner. Ensures quality and accuracy of results.
