Eaton's AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk.
The hours for this role are 6:00AM - 2:30PM
The hourly rate for this position is $24.50 - $34.58 per hour.

Position Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk oversees all inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency. This role is critical in participating in cross-training initiatives, maintaining compliance with EHS standards, and leading continuous improvement efforts across the shipping and receiving functions.

Key Responsibilities:
Logistics Operations
• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities, including prioritizing receipts and shipments while ensuring flow of material through to inspection or carrier, respectively.
• Manage carrier interactions (UPS, FedEx, DHL, T-Force, RXO) and government portals for outbound shipments.
• Ensure timely processing of RMAs and maintain traceability of all shipments
• Train in shipping and receiving tasks, as outlined in the cross-training matrix
• Participate in ergonomic assessments and Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs) to reduce risk and improve flow
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory movements.
• Lead and direct the material planning team to balance shipping material needs as driven by demand and shipping department capacity
• Interface with customer service to identify customer requirements. Communicate customer service documentation errors prior to completing shipment.
• Support OTD and Sales plant goals
• Ensure all documentation (packing slips, BOLs, RMAs) is complete and archived
• Follow 5S+ for the shipping area and participate in sustainment and improvement activities
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations or an associate's degree in a related field
• Must be flexible in work hours to accommodate early and late deliveries/shipments
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
• Experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
• Knowledge powered industrial equipment (pallet jacks, forklift, e.g.,)
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30lbs unassisted.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Ability to operate powered industrial machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Must be able to work in environments with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature fluctuations.
• May be required to wear chemical-resistant gloves when handling certain materials
