What you'll do:

As Service Operations Manager you will develop and manage the Electrical Service Operations in Denmark reporting to Nordic Service Operations Manager. Your team consists of Service Administrator, Service Coordinator & Field Service Engineers and operates with UPS and MV Service covering various client locations in Denmark. Your team handles various service related responsibilities, including contract agreements, installations, commissioning & repairs.

As Service Operations Manager you will be responsible for running and developing service operations, field engineering and coordination in line with profit plan requirements, whilst applying the Eaton standard work practices. You will participate in the Nordics cluster activities, management, development and cooperation. Further responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest level of safety standards are implemented and aligned with MESH, Eaton's Zero Incident Safety Culture as well as national guidelines and procedures.
  • Management of Field Service Engineering teams. Ensure efficient utilisation of Engineer force, compliance to EHS regulations, Field Audits, Training and development.
  • Develops, inspires, motivates and manages the team in line with the Eaton Leadership Model to achieve business goals.
  • Drives Operational Standardization across the Country, including operational improvements in field engineering, back office functions and service coordination in the Cluster and Budapest BSC.
  • Act as senior escalation point for customer, technical and operational escalations, coordinating with available teams to resolves issues. Work needs to be coordinated with Points of Contact in the factories, technical teams and EMEA Services.
  • Facilate as applicable in the implementation and delivery of improved Field Service Systems.
  • Contribute to the EMEA Service Strategic Plan to ensure growth and sustained profitability in line with Eaton's overall stategic goals - paritcularly focused on EMEA productivity expectations.
  • Defines performance metrics and evaluates and interprets data to drive performance improvement and productivity throughout the organisation.
  • Interact with the EMEA Central Service Operation Manager on standards implementation, and participate in identifying, defining best practices and new standards.
  • Interact with other operational teams in the country to identify and implement synergies.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant education in electrical engineering, Bachelor degree is an advantage.
  • Proven industry experience in electrical services sector (like low or medium voltage service, UPS or battery systems, etc).
  • Extensive track record in people and operations management, coaching and mentoring personality.
  • Strong communication and business fluency in English and Danish language, other EU language knowledge is advantage.
  • Basic IT literacy (MS Office), knowledge in SAP or Salesforce is advantage.
  • Able to work and travel within Denmark and EMEA without any restrictions.
  • Solution and client focused attitude with business mindset.
