Senior Supervisor Logistics

Eaton's ES AMER PCS PCD division is currently seeking a Senior Supervisor Logistics.

What you'll do:

Job Summary

Plan, organize and control logistic operations to ensure the proper material and finish good flow across Bussmann facility to enable the highest customer service level. The position is responsible but not limited to manage receiving, warehousing, inventory, custody and shipping of materials, including customs negotiations, following EATON Business System (EBS), policy and procedures, and ensuring legal compliance.

Job Responsibilities

1. Elaborate key metrics for the internal customers (On time delivery, Inventory accuracy, inventory adjustments, receiving discrepancies) and analysis

of Performance to Load detractors for weekly staff presentation.
2. Establish and support all the initiatives to improve and maintain the Pull System in the plant.
3. Manage warehouse resources to ensure replenishment to production line as needed.
4. Guarantee the best practices of the SAP system and inventory management policies.
6. Monitor internal and customer warehouses to guaranty products availability. Relaying on logistics elements such as product transfers from one
warehouse to another, transfers from a warehouse to a plant and vice versa. Providing daily follow up to shipped orders, assuring that they reach their final destiny.
7. Daily Non-Stock order planning follow-up, based on plant capacity and Load Plan. Provide follow up and assure accomplishment. Orders must be sent to the customers at the correct and corresponding date.
8. Daily support to manufacturing areas to solve problems that delay product shipped on time.
9. Supervise the performance and execution of the Logistics Supervisors and raw material inventory levels. #LI-DG2

Qualifications:

Education level required

  • Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Business
  • Administration or similar careers.

Years and area of experience required

  • Minimum experience of 3-5 years in similar positions (Logistics)

Skills:

Technical Knowledge

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • PC knowledge, Microsoft Office, SAP
  • CPIM Certification as a plus.
  • Knowledge of Eaton - Electrical products.
  • Knowledge of Lean Tools and 6 Sigma.
  • Knowledge of MRP, Inventory control and Custom Laws.
  • Preferable experience at the manufacturing area
