Eaton's GEIS division is currently seeking a Senior Pricing Operations Analyst.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year.

What you'll do:

The Senior Pricing Operations Analyst will report to the North America Pricing Operations Manager and will be a part of a high-performing team that provides our customers with best-in-class experience, leading to customer loyalty. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with a team of pricing analysts to optimize pricing processes, system improvements and to provide strategic insight for the broader pricing team. This position will work closely with product marketing to understand each product line strategy and leverage that information to develop a business pricing strategy by region that will achieve annual sales targets. The candidate will handle escalations as required, will be accountable to make decisions to resolve customer issues and will set authority levels to optimize the quotation escalation process. The position requires the ability to operate in a continual mode of negotiation, coaching and decision making. This position is responsible for the team's efforts in maximizing sales and profitability while maintaining positive customer relations.
In this function you will:
• Drive pricing process improvement through the development and communication of pricing policies and procedures in conjunction with the creation and deployment of pricing tools to improve the pricing process including identifying areas of pricing degradation.

• Identify and track key pricing metrics to improve visibility of competitor and Crouse-Hinds, B-Line, Oil and Gas pricing actions and service performance and opportunities.
• Execute overall product line pricing strategies to optimize price realization while efficiently and effectively responding to business opportunities which may include price increases and alignment adjustments across the business.
• Improve service quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing and documenting processes, training the team, establishing and communicating service metrics, monitoring and analyzing results, and implementing changes.
• Collaborate with regional pricing teams and support them with negotiations, escalations, and understanding the market dynamics.
• Proactively engage the Product Line Managers and work with the Pricing Operations Manager to develop the overall all product line pricing strategy by providing recommendations on how to optimize price realization through strategic pricing actions (e.g. SKU, Customer segmentation, and NPD).
• Work closely with sales leadership and regional pricing leaders to gather market information as well as provide pricing guidance and intelligence to help optimize price to maximize margin dollars.
• The Senior Pricing Operations Analyst is responsible for providing input to, executing & communicating the company's pricing strategy.
• Document all key processes to ensure consistent global performance and easy integration of new personnel.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 3 years of analytics experience
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Syracuse, NY or Highland, IL will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of B-Line and Crouse-Hinds Products
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP and Business Explorer)
  • 2 years of experience in the commercial/industrial electrical industry
  • Experience in providing customer service support
  • Experience with support systems

Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of our various channels to market and familiarity with selling through manufacturer's representative, distribution, and factory direct sales forces
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (particularly Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong Excel, Power BI, capabilities and experience with third party quotations software.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment; under pressure and within project deadlines.
