Eaton's IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Senior Planner. This is a full time, on-site position based in North Charleston, SC.
The Senior Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling and work order release for their assigned manufacturing value streams. The Senior Planner will manage inventory and production plans to meet plant goals.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year.

What you'll do:
- Balance current and future demand requirements with supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements
- Plan and release work orders to maintain optimum lead time and inventory levels
- Initiate transactions to allocate, purchase, internally manufacture or reschedule material
- Expedite material to meet shortfalls between current plan and customer order requirements
- Analyze data including MRP/ERP information to prepare reports and recommend actions to optimize supply chain execution
- Work with a cross-functional team to support cost reduction projects and drive improvement initiatives
- Initiate quoting activity, evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate price
- Manage purchase price variance and develop mitigation plans to provide a positive impact on overall results
- Maintain records related to purchase orders contracts and agreements

Qualifications:
Required Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a supply chain role
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee or Refugee.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future
- No relocation is offered for this position. Only candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of North Charleston,SC will be considered. Active Duty Military are exempt from this geographical limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or business administration.
- Knowledge of Aerospace industry, complex machined materials management, lean manufacturing, MRP/ERP, and Advanced Replenishment Strategies.
- Three (3) years experience in purchasing, production planning or supply chain management
- One (1) year experience within a manufacturing environment
