Senior MDM Architect- IT

What you'll do:

This exciting role is part of a our IT team in a large multi-national company. The role offers a broad variety of responsibilities including great learning opportunities.

Brief primary function of your role:
• Partner closely with business and IT leaders to deliver Eaton's Next Generation Master Data Management (MDM) design architecture
• Play a significant role in AI/ML-driven transformations by identifying and executing opportunities to embed Gen AI automation into core MDM processes such as data quality, matching, deduplication, and enrichment.
• Assess vendors and collaborate with broader architecture team to ensure solutions align with global data strategy.
• Coach, advise and guide business and IT teams on best practices in deploying MDM technologies to drive productivity, growth and efficiency.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business process/requirements and convert those into user stories enabling a high level functional design.
• Facilitate assessment and maintenance of business capabilities for maturity, priority and overall risk.
• Lead the design activities for multiple Integration technologies(Informatica, Workato, APIGEE, Kafka etc..)
• Lead the design activities for next gen data platform and contribute on legacy data platform migration activities for MDM domains."

"Your essential responsibilities include:

• Champion an AI-first approach in the design, development, and deployment of innovative solutions for Master Data Management (MDM).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration across data governance, data quality, and data stewardship processes.
• Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and trends to continuously enhance MDM capabilities and drive operational efficiency.
• Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with enterprise data standards and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a culture of experimentation and innovation, encouraging the use of machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI to solve complex data challenges.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams adopting AI in MDM, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Working knowledge of Saas models, business process improvement/ re-engineering principles--lean six sigma, customer journey mapping and Agile principles.
• Converting business needs and outcomes into solution requirements with an ability to articulate total cost of ownership (TCO)
