Eaton Corporate is hiring a Senior Manager, IT SAP Deliver Product Owner in Budapest, Hungary.

What you'll do:

The Senior Manager SAP Deliver will set and champion the product vision, work with key senior leaders to influence strategic business objectives, develop and maintain the product roadmap, and define key operational processes like the product release schedule. The individual in this role will work closely with business partners and customers to define epics that align with key business objectives for the Scrum or Kanban team.

The Senior Manager SAP Deliver is responsible for multiple products which may be managed directly or via management of other product owners. The Senior Manager SAP Deliver will drive efficiencies within the team through the deployment of innovative AI technologies, process standardization, solution reusability, automation and most efficient use of resources, global team structure and external parties.

  • Define and champion the product vision, roadmap, and epics, working with senior leaders to craft strategic business objectives and enterprise-spanning plans to meet customer and business needs
  • Own the product backlog, managing and prioritizing user stories, decomposing epics into features, and continuous improvement work
  • Manage a team of IT professionals and/or managers, providing appropriate coaching to develop employee skills and continuously improve performance
  • Develops and maintains product-specific persona and customer journeys
  • Communicate goals for product increments and releases. Define goals for team sprints.
  • Support the onboarding of internal and external resources
  • Accountable for product support, stability, and governance: including data, policy, cybersecurity, and usage
  • Act as a functional expert in areas related to the product, including across Eaton's portfolio and with other business units
  • Understand commercial, business and go-to-market strategies where applicable
  • Support a Secure Product Development Lifecycle approach that establishes a strong cybersecurity focus and culture across the entire engineering lifecycle
  • Will have a broader level of functional and technical knowledge of SAP deliver capabilities
  • Develop, communicate, and deploy SAP deliver governance standards and best practices across the support and delivery of SAP deliver capabilities
  • Drive system architecture, ensure alignment and facilitate solution delivery across SAP deliver related activities

Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree from an accredited institution is required. Advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience within SAP finance (ECC and S4) across a complex multiple ERP instance architecture.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner or equivalent position.
  • Prior manager of people experience required
  • Exceptional ERP deliver functional knowledge across ECC and S4
  • Expertise with product management and modern product delivery processes
  • Strong understanding of and experience working with Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban software delivery teams
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles
  • Strong understanding of modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services.
