For our Hengelo site, we are looking for a Senior HR Business Partner with focus on sales and manufacturing functions.
Our Hengelo site is now located at the heart of the Green Box cleantech campus in The Netherlands, a unique location with multiple companies who all work towards future clean technology. Eaton has offices, test, storage and production facilities for electrical equipment, which is essential for charging electric cars, temporarily storing electricity.
The site is on a sustained growth trend, as a complex agile High - manufacturing location. From sustainability to Energy Transition to the Electrification, the in Hengelo site is currently linked to all of these from a manufacturing standpoint, as in Hengelo we design and bring to life the next generation of medium - voltage switchgear power equipment.
As Senior HR Business Partner, you will be a trusted advisor to the Hengelo site leadership team and a strategic partner to the business.
You will lead initiatives that align HR strategy with business goals, support organizational change, and foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and performance.
You will lead local/ international HR change programs, communications, and community engagement, and ensure compliance with Dutch labor law and global HR standards. You will partner with local management teams and collaborate with our efficient on-site HR administration team and the Eaton Shared Services Center to deliver seamless HR operations.
Location: On-site in Hengelo, The Netherlands
Top responsibilities associated to the role:
- Act as a strategic HR leader for the Hengelo site, supporting ~400 employees across diverse functions.
- Collaborate with the HR Leader Benelux in managing relationships with senior stakeholders, including works councils.
- Lead change management initiatives and support organizational transformation aligned with Eaton's global strategy.
- Drive talent development, succession planning, and workforce planning to ensure long-term organizational capability.
- Partner with local and international HR colleagues to optimize HR processes and systems.
- Champion Eaton's employer brand and contribute to community-building and internal communications.
- Provide senior-level coaching and guidance to managers on leadership, performance, and employee engagement.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, including senior-level business partnering in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Proven expertise in Dutch labor law, labor relations, and HR compliance.
- Strong background in change management and organizational development.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability.
- Experience working with or advising Works Councils and unions is highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Dutch and English.
