The expected annual salary range for this role is $123750.0 - $181500.0 a year.

Job Description:
As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines, Ontology objects, and integrations with other systems and data sources. You will build robust data transformation workflows, ensuring high-performance and scalability, and you will help others to do the same. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that adhere to established architectural patterns within Eaton. You will be responsible for ensuring that good data governance practices are being followed and that the team is securing our data appropriately. You will help to continuously improve data architecture and ensure its relevance and effectiveness. Additionally, you will collaborate on setting best practices for data management, security, and governance in Palantir environments.
Job Responsibilities
• Create blueprints for data management systems to ensure data is organized, integrated, and accessible.
• Develop data models that illustrate how data elements relate to each other, guiding database design and development.
• Design and build databases that optimize data storage, retrieval, and performance.
• Establish data policies and standards to align with business objectives and technological capabilities.
• Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Determine standards for data quality and ensure data integrity.
• Design approaches to data integration, including internal databases and external APIs, to derive insights from a holistic view of data.
• Work with business stakeholders, IT professionals, and data analysts to design effective data infrastructure.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends in data management and technologies.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in Information Technology
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in Enterprise Solution/data architecture, Data, Modelling, Data management and Data strategy
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in Cloud database technologies
- Familiarity with data architecture frameworks and best practices.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advantage having Palantir Platform experience.
• Familiarity with the latest Generative AI models.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, SQL, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
• Good understanding of Data Integration technologies.
• Good understanding of API-First architecture.
• Good understanding of enterprise data projects (data warehouses/master data management, others) with hands-on data analysis.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps processes.
• Must be able to deal with ambiguity and adapt to changing business needs.
• Good team player, self-motivating, and committed with an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and have knowledge of all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle.
