What you'll do:

Senior Analyst Marketing Engineer responsible for the project configuration, costing, and pricing for UPS systems in PDSS APAC. Targeting the GB market and partial IEC market. This individual will own the bidding process and work with the front office to enhance hit rates through technical support and optimization of configuration.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the project quotation process, including technical clarification, configuration, costing, and pricing to support sales bidding.
2. Provide pre-sales technical support and expertise in the implementation of customer applications associated with UPS systems, power distribution systems, and cooling solutions.
3. Analyze and summarize project details regularly to understand the what, why, who, and how of each project.
4. Support local sales by providing optimized solutions to customers and guiding them on product selection and application.
5. Conduct competitor analysis in terms of product specifications, pricing strategy, and business models.
6. Manage information collection regarding engineering changes, customer feedback, and complaints, and communicate with R&D, Plant, Regional sales, and product managers.
7. Prepare and present seminars to customers and consultants, and provide solutions and bidding documents.
8. Transfer the project to the Field PMO for execution after winning the project order.

Qualifications:

• Requires graduated in Electrical Engineering or Electrical system automation of University at least.
• 5-8 years project, or engineering experience, engaging in designing or supporting UPS, power distribution system and cooling.

• Requires practical experience in designing or supporting UPS, power distribution system and cooling based on site.
• The application knowledge of power distribution system in data center.
• Electrical installation methods, practices, and the National Electrical Code
• Factory and field troubleshooting methods and equipment
• Power switchgear and distribution manufacture techniques
• Better if also familiar with both power supply products and cooling and their applications.
• Must be able to make technical proposal presentations to customers and consulting engineers.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and will be prior in English.
• Technical interpretation, communication skills.
