What will you do?
In this role, you will perform buy-side and sell-side due diligence on divestitures, acquisitions, and strategic investment targets, focusing on quality of earnings, net working capital, debt considerations, and financial reporting. You will liaise with third-party diligence firms, communicate key findings to Strategy & Corporate Development and Legal Teams, and support finance integration efforts. Other responsibilities include annual goodwill and intangible asset impairment testing, purchase accounting and the related valuation of fixed and intangible assets, and divestiture accounting support.
What will make you successful?
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and technical accounting experience, coupled with strategic and analytical thinking. They should be able to express complex concepts in simple, easy-to-grasp ways, both verbally and in writing. Curiosity and the ability to challenge the status quo are essential. A strong knowledge of US GAAP and a drive for results are required, along with attention to detail and accuracy. The candidate must be able to prioritize and multi-task to resolve issues and make decisions with minimal supervision. They should work easily with a diverse set of people to achieve goals collaboratively. A working knowledge of financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, and FCCS is necessary, as is proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution required.
• Minimum three (3) years of Accounting / Finance Experience.
• Up to 10% travel is required for this position.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior deals and due diligence experience
• Master's Degree from an accredited institution
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a plus.
