Eaton's ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Segment Manager, Industrial Building & Campuses. This is a hybrid-based position and candidates for this role must reside within 50 miles of the following locations to be considered for the position: Moon Township, PA; Boothwyn, PA; Franklin, MA; Raleigh, NC; Mountainside, NJ; San Diego, CA or Pleasanton, CA. Relocation assistance will be offered for successful applicants who live outside these locations.

What you'll do:

Position Overview:
The Segment Manager, Industrial Building & Campuses will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive sales & marketing strategy that includes elevating Eaton's position in key sub segments such as Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences, Semiconductor, Food & Beverage, and Warehouses/Distribution Centers. One will lead the creation and execution of integrated sales & marketing campaigns, programs and tools that drive brand awareness, foster customer loyalty, increase customer engagement, drive demand creation for our solutions and services, all while leading Eaton's presence at strategic customers (end users/channel) and industry associations, contributing to the growth of this segment. In addition, one will collaborate with our sales, marketing communications, and product marketing teams to ensure that strategies align with broader business goals and customer needs while positioning Eaton as a leader in the industrial buildings & campuses space.

In this function you will:
• Develop and lead the execution of comprehensive sales & marketing strategy collaborating with key stakeholders such as product marketing, sales and marketing communications to define and execute marketing plans, campaigns, initiatives, promotions, selling tools and communications that drive demand creation and sales across digital/traditional channels
• Lead Eaton's presence at strategic industry associations and related conferences and events to ensure Eaton is positioned as a thought leader in defined subsegments and as it relates to digital, electrification and energy transition, which includes negotiating sponsorship agreements, speaking at industry events on trends/compelling Eaton technology/customer success stories, while securing new incremental customers, opportunities and leads that grow funnel and help our sales team close more business
• Act as a strategic selling resource for our sales teams that coaches/leads our sales teams how to close large complex projects while developing higher level relationships with key industry stakeholders such as strategic end users
• Ensure sales & brand alignment with segment messaging, creative content, product positioning & launching that resonates with targeted sub segments while aligning segment messaging across all touchpoints to deliver a cohesive customer experience
• Conduct comprehensive market research and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape and customer pain points to gain understanding and valuable insights into customer needs; these insights need to be shared with sales, marketing and product lines to ensure that marketing strategies and campaigns resonant with our customers
• Develop segment specific sales tools based off message maps to support sales enablement, such segment playbooks, selling presentations, line cards and customer success stories; collaborate with the sales team & channel to identify, target and define strategic accounts while executing selling strategies and account plans
• Partner with the business and analytics teams to develop and maintain accurate and dynamic sales funnels and dashboards

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum five (5) years of sales and marketing experience
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in field sales
• Possess a valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance
• MBA
• Experience in various sales and marketing roles with increasing responsibilities

• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
• Proven leadership skills, detail-oriented, high level of integrity, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well with people across multiple functions, strong communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of the electrical industry and how key themes such as digitalization, electrification and energy transition are impacting the industry
• Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment
• Adaptable/flexible and able to thrive in a highly dynamic environment
• Passion evangelizing our capabilities and success on social media and other outlets to build brand preference and recognition
• Self-starter with strong drive for results with a high degree of passion and energy
• Ability to travel up to 25%

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $142,500 - $250,800.

Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
