Quality Technician

Eaton's Power Components Division is currently seeking a Quality Technician. The position will be based at our facility in Beaver, PA.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year.

What you'll do:

The Quality Technician is responsible for improving and assuring quality in all products and various services of the facility through driving the day-to-day quality system activities and deployment of ELS. In this role, you will provide ongoing daily support to the manufacturing floor and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for plant quality issues, including 8D problem-solving.
  • Drive operational and product quality improvements in collaboration with plant leadership.
  • Manage customer quality concerns, returns, and credit decisions to maintain strong relationships.
  • Support new product launches with quality planning and process optimization.
  • Conduct and report PPAP and PFMEA activities; provide statistical reporting.
  • Maintain ISO certification documentation and lead internal audits and training.
  • Oversee lab equipment calibration and maintenance; serve as lab technician backup.
  • Assist with special quality projects and support the Quality Manager.
  • Monitor customer portals and lead compliance audits to ensure EQS standards are met.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High school diploma/GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality and/or manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Three (3) years of experience in quality in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with international quality standards, lean manufacturing, statistical methods, blueprint reading and continuous improvement tools such as FMEA, DOE
• ASQ certifications
• Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification
• ERP systems experience: AS400, Minitab, SPC tools
