Eaton's ES AMER MFGSC division is currently seeking a Quality Team Lead-1st Shift at our Dallas, TX location!

The hourly rate for this position is $24.00/hr - $26.00/hr per hour. The core hours are 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

What you'll do:

The Quality Lead is responsible for leading a team of Quality Technicians during the daily quality operations of the distribution center by ensuring the inbound and outbound audit processes are efficient, timely, and safe. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with knowledge of supply chain processes and IT systems, are essential for success in this role. This role involves supporting quality assurance training and any other quality tasks as assigned by management. The individual will report to both Quality Supervisor and Quality Manager.

In this function, you will:

• Balance inbound and outbound Quality Technicians workloads based on priority defined by management.
• Conduct quality orientation for new hires and provide ongoing guidance using Eaton product knowledge.
• Ensure Quality Technicians maintain a clean, safe, and organized work enviornment; observe and report safety concerns.
• Monitor audits performed by Quality Technicians to ensure alignment with quality standards.
• Review and investigate quality/inventory inquires due to quality holds, and report findings via VISTA/ SAP to the supplying plant.
• Assist with inbound and outbound quality audits as needed.
• Identify and report quality issues, trends, and concerns based on audit data.
• Operate Powered Industrial Truck Equipment when required.
• Investigate customer complaints using email, Q-Management software, and Salesforce; support the RMA process.
• Help publish audit reports and perform related data entry.
• Log, investigate, and analyze errors reported by customers and Eaton facilities to validate DC responsibility.
• Use system tools such as WMS, SAP, Q-Pulse, VISTA, and MS Office for analysis and reporting.
• Flex into other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.
• Must have a Minimum Of 1 year of work experience in a distribution, warehouse, and/or other material handling environment.
• Must have a Minimum Of 1 year of experience with SAP.
• Must have basic computer skills (ex: printing, emailing).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior forklift and/or order picker equipment (MHE) operation experience.
• Prior experience with the following software's: Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS), Vista, Q-Pulse, Microsoft Office Suite
• Prior Eaton Product knowledge.
• Prior leadership skills and delegation of warehouse tasks.

• Must have strong communication skills and be able to accurately follow directions, both verbal and written.
• Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to focus on tasks at hand.
• Must be able to lift 40+ lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
• Must be able to work specific shift hours and have flexibility to work overtime based on customer demand.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must actively support team concepts and effectively communicate with team members.
