The expected annual salary range for this role is $105225.03 - $154330.04 a year.

What you'll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Eaton AER ITD (Aerospace Interconnects) division is currently seeking a Quality Supervisor. The Quality Supervisor gives direction to Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality and Quality Inspection functions, as needed. This position provides leadership, mentoring, evaluation and development of Quality Engineers, Supplier Quality Engineer, and Quality Inspectors. Also, this position has responsibility and oversight of product produced in Eaton Camarillo. The Camarillo site has QMS responsibilities for centralized design and customer service activities within the QMS.

* This position requires working on-site daily M-F at our Camarillo, California Manufacturing facility. Relocation and/or visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Quality Supervisor will facilitate problem solving, ensure coordination and communication of corrective and preventive actions, and manage the QMS development and maintenance. The Quality Supervisor is also responsible for driving supplier improvement in the areas of Quality, Delivery and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

• Provide Leadership/ Supervisory to on-site Camarillo, CA Manufacturing Quality team members.

• Develop, implement, and monitor performance against short and long-range plans to achieve supplier and internal quality and inspection objectives.
• Identify needs, and develop the Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality Engineering and Inspection functions as required.
• Select and develop competent Quality Engineers, Supplier Quality Engineers, and Quality Inspectors to ensure quality goals are achieved.
• Provide direction to ensure compliance with all applicable customer requirements and government regulations involving product quality.
• Drive customer, supplier and internal corrective action and preventive action for timely and effective completion.
• Support improvement performance of key suppliers by implementing process controls and develop quality assurance plans.
• In collaboration with the Plant Manager and Regional Quality Manager, review, improve & standardize the daily activities and actions necessary to support the key functional initiatives which will drive the organization forward.
• Analyze key organizational metrics and recommend actions & plans to drive for improvements.
• Assure effective communication and reporting to customers and suppliers.
• Assure compliance with control phase of quality systems and initiatives such as internal auditing, statistical process control and testing.
• Provides Quality Leadership to customers, suppliers, and internal manufacturing cells.
• Leads continuous improvement activities in targeted areas.
• Ensures quality organization support to Supply Chain Management organization relative to the collection and analysis of supplier quality data providing expertise and assists suppliers with product and process quality requirements.

Qualifications:

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two (2) years of Quality supervisory or management experience within a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years Quality Engineering experience working with manufacturing quality systems.
• No relocation is offered for this position. Only candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of the Camarillo, CA facility will be considered.
• This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All accepted applications must be U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS Engineering / Six Sigma Greenbelt or Black Belt Certification is preferred.

• Quality System Knowledge (e.g. AS9100, ISO 9001, TS16949)
• ASQ CQE or CMQOE is preferred.
• Advanced skills with MS Office software are preferred.
• Nadcap Special Process Knowledge
