Quality Engineering Intern

What you'll do:
Position Overview:
Eaton B-Line is seeking an intern for participation in its Quality & Engineering Program. In addition the internship involves hands-on documenting plant processes flow, coordination of meetings with process owners and support functions to determine risks and document existing controls (pFMEA and Control Plans). Expected interaction with all the positions in the manufacturing facility. Progress of assigned projects and tasks will be tracked throughout and the intern will have the opportunity to present accomplishments at the end of the internship.
The intern will gain experience in:
- Different manufacturing processes.
- Handle communications and interact at different levels of the organization.
- Learn the culture and business model of a company with operations worldwide.
- Experience the challenges of a manufacturing facility.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering at an accredited institution.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (please don't round).
- Relocation is not provided for this role, the candidate must be located within 50 miles of Reno, NV.
