What you'll do:

  • Manage plant Quality, build an effective team to drive for manufacturing excellence.
  • Set the quality strategy, lead the development and execution of quality system, improve product quality and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Additional take overall leadership in implement quality management system; continually improve customer satisfaction and quality performance; drive to develop functional competency in the Wuxi plant.
  • Lead the plan, develop, deployment and continuous improvement of quality system aligned with TS and EQS policies and requirements.
  • Lead the product quality plan and execution through PFMEA, PCP and WI.
  • Plan and execute process audit and product audit including in-process and outgoing quality;
  • Deal with quality feedback, drive for root cause elimination to maintain customer satisfaction, monitor supplying performance from customer, include customer website or score balance card;
  • Lead deployment of tools and processes of Eaton Business System (EBS) to achieve operational excellence, such as Eaton Lean Six- Sigma (ELSS), CIF, RIE, OpA( Operations assessment) and etc.;
  • Act as interface between Wuxi and Eaton global CI organization to facilitate communication, knowledge sharing, CI strategy& process deployment to promote Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement culture;
  • Coach and train the employees to use Lean and Six Sigma tools;
  • Lead ELSS, Operations Assessment(OpA) and Eaton Business Excellent Assessment process and drive continuous improvement;
  • Train and lead cross-functional continuous improvement teams; focusing on measurable quality, service and cost improvements.
  • Drives the standardization of processes and the implementation of metrics and best practices.
  • Assist in setting annual operational targets and help drive improvements to achieve those targets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and above with major in Engineering or related majors.
  • At least 5 years' experience in Mechanical Part Manufacturing Industry or related industry in JV or foreign company and automatic company.
  • Significant knowledge and understanding of Automotive quality systems including ISO/TS 16949, VDA 6.1, Industry, and customer specific requirements.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, heat treat, etc.
  • The knowledge of a wide range of problem-solving tools & methods, including statistics, combined with the ability to select & apply them to make data based decisions to sustain higher levels of process or product quality (CQE or Six Sigma Certification preferred).
  • Effective communication skills including fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Knowledge in 6Sigma and Lean as an advantage.
