Eaton's ES AMER MFGSC division is currently seeking a Quality Auditor-1st Shift at our Fontana, CA location!

The hourly rate for this position is 23.50 per hour. The core hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

The Quality Auditor ensures customer orders are shipped accurately, in the correct quantity, and in proper condition. This role is responsible for identifying and documenting discrepancies, conducting root cause investigations, and anaylzing error trends to recommend process improvements. Additionally, the Quality Auditor supports the Quality and Operational Excellence (OpEx) teams in ISO audit preparation and the management of non-conforming materials.

Position Criteria:

In this function, you will:

• Inspect outbound pallets to ensure shipment accuracy.
• Collect, store, and analyze data related to internal and external quality errors.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address quality issues.
• Communicate quality concerns and collaborate on customer issue resolution.
• Perform quality audits across inbound and outbound operations
• Investigate transactional data to identify patterns and share insights with relevant teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Leverage systems such as Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS), SAP, VISTA, and Microsoft Office Suite as needed for analysis, investigation, and reporting
• Utilize product knowledge to support efforts in improving inventory location accuracy and control.
• Operate Powered Industrial Truck Equipment as needed.
• Flex into other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year of work experience in a distribution, warehouse and/or other material handling environment.
• Must have prior knowledge of the following software's: Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS), VISTA, and SAP.
• Must have basic computer skills (ex: printing, emailing).
• Must be able to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Fontana, CA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous forklift and/or order picker equipment (MHE) operation experience
• Must be able to work specific shift hours and have flexibility to work overtime based on customer demand.
• Eaton product knowledge.

  • Able to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Must be detail-orientated and have the ability to focus on tasks at hand.
  • Must be able to lift 40+ lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling is inherent to this position.
  • Must be able to work specific shift hours and have flexibility to work overtime based on customer demand.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must actively support team concepts and effectively communicate with team members.
