Project Lead - Business Finance COE

What you'll do:

This role is part of the Business Finance Center of Excellence and will be responsible for the end to end planning, execution and seameless delivery of projects, ensuring that the COE initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and to the expected quality standards.

Project Planning & Scheduling:
- Develop project charter along with workstream owners for all COE approved projects
- Supports in the project priortization
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines and identify critical activities/paths
- Define milestones, dependencies and resource requirements in collaboraiton with workstream owners
- Maintain project schedules and proactively identify slippages, risks
Execution and Delivery Management:
- Drive day to day exeuction of project activities, ensuring adherence to project charter and project plans
- Monitor progress, track key deliverables, and proactively escalates risks or delays
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to remove roadblocks and maintain project discipline and momentum
- Adopts an agile approach to project delivery
Stakeholder Managment & Communication:
- Develop the communication plan to ensure relevent stakeholders are provided with timely project updates
- Schedules and facilitates regular status meetings, steering committee and stakeholdr reviews
- Prepare and circulate 4 UP's, RAID, dashboards, reports and other relevent documentation fo stakeholder and sponsor visibility

Risk Management and Mitigation:
- Identify, assess and track project risks and issues
- Collaborate with workstream owners to propose mitigation and contingency plans to keep project on track
Governance and Quality assurance:
- Ensure project adheres to established frameworks, standards and processes and leverages Eaton Business Systems
- Ensure deliverables meet quality and compliance standards

Qualifications:

Requirement:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or Information technology
  • 10 years+ of total experience in finance or IT domain preferably in an reporting and advanced analytics function
  • 5-8 years of experience in Project Management or project coordination
  • This role will require strong project management skills, stakeholder management, ability to identify and manages risk and work in a cross-functional, matrix organization to drive seamless execution of COE projects

Skills:

  • Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2, Agile/Scrum)
  • Experience with project management tools e.g. MS Project, Jira, ProPM
  • Excellent Office365 tools (Power BI, Powerpoint, Word, Excel etc.)
  • CI Tools - BPI, DMAIC, PDCA etc.
  • Strong planning and organization skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • High degree of accountability and ownership, able to drive progress
  • Proactive, solution oriented with a strong attention to detail, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in time, priority and task management.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communicaiton skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic enviroments
