The expected annual salary range for this role is $123750.0 - $145000.00 a year.

What you'll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The primary function for this role is program management, planning, developing, and executing strategic CV (Commercial Vehicle) aftermarket projects. This PM role will Lead programs entailed in a new innovative Ai prediction Cruise control system utilized by the Commercial Truck fleet Industry. This advanced Cruise Control Trucking System will save Truck/Fleet owners money $ due to reduced/saving of fuel consumption.

The manager is responsible for developing business cases, business plans, coordinate cross-functional teams and its actions/tasks on time and compiling reports. Responsibility includes managing new programs/projects from the idea and design phase to launching, in order to meet and achieve all program timing, deadlines, cost, quality, sales and sustainable result requirements. Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives by the strategic and profit plans.

Candidate will assist with early supplier involvement in new product introduction to meet key SCM and BU initiatives and with alignment to all necessary stakeholders related to the aftermarket business. Coordinate with suppliers/partners, sales, product management, finance, legal, purchasing, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, operations, M&A, marketing, and sales to develop, manufacture, and successfully launch new strategic projects.

Plus, the manager also manages the overall budget and helps team members and cross-functional areas to successfully work together.

This role requires high ability to manage and drive program execution and implementation. The role will be responsible for on-time end-to-end implementation of growth initiatives, from negotiations and business deals closing to planning, tracking and executing key strategic program launch activities.

The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural leader, this person should have strong talent for project coordination. Ultimately, the senior program manager should be motivated by a desire to nurture program success from inception to completion.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Create comprehensive business case for strategic opportunities by evaluating needs and goals, examining risks and potentials, ensure alignment with overall company strategic goals and by estimating timing and resource requirements for implementation.
  • Lead processes within organization for success of the program, includes digitization initiatives, logistics and other processes required for growth specific to the channel of sales.
  • Be agile and streamline process, reports and execution to meet quick turnaround of aftermarket business needs
  • Drive sales execution and commercialization to meet profit plan and strategic plan
  • Take lead in the execution of program with sales, customers and partners .
  • Lead as the primary business resource to ensure on time execution and implementation of new product strategies. Working closely with cross-functional counterparts (Sales, Finance, Legal, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations) and providing program leadership to ensure success.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of Program Management experience working for a large automotive and/or commercial vehicle company.
• Previous experience supporting NPI of Technical products and/or interfacing with Engineering/manufacturing/sales.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
• Candidate must currently reside within 50 miles of Southfield, Michigan. Relocation is not available for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA degree.
• Trucking and Transportation Industry Experience.
• Previous experience in CV (Commercial Vehicle) aftermarket sales/products.
• Sharp business mind and proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives.
• Strong talent for project coordination.
• Motivated by a desire to nurture program success from inception to completion.
• Previous exposure to cross-functional counterparts (Sales, Finance, Legal, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations).
• Agility to work in start-up / entrepreneur work environment.
• Ability to take accountability and ownership - Ability to drive initiatives. Proposal development. Product Strategy.
