Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Program Manager II.

This role is located in our Waukesha, WI site. Relocation assistance will be provided.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $123750.0 - $181500.0 a year.

What you'll do:

The Program Manager II will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of capital projects focused on footprint optimization, capacity expansion, process improvement, and facility enhancements. This role requires a strong understanding of current manufacturing capabilities and emerging technologies to drive efficient and effective implementation of new manufacturing processes. Key responsibilities include managing project scope, schedule, budget, and expected outcomes while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Program Manager II will work closely with local operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and successful integration into day-to-day operations. Additionally, this role will assess business and operational needs to develop project strategies and build compelling business cases that support long-term value creation.

In this role you will:

  • Effectively lead meetings and documentation for project teams and conduct project update meetings to agreed upon schedules
  • Leverages global resources and prior project contacts to develop the best solutions and assemble best project business cases
  • Executes large and complex projects for PSD (experienced in PROLaunch STP and NPI execution)
  • Build organizational competency - Mentors and trains key individuals in the organization
  • Evaluate alternate manufacturing processes (ex: additive manufacturing, Metal Infused Manufacturing, plating) that focus on cost reduction, material optimization, and supply chain resiliency
  • Able to assemble and lead a cross functional team with engagement from all required organizations
  • Manage supplier and contractor contracts, pricing, terms and conditions, warranty, etc.
  • Develop equipment technical specifications and perform supplier/contractor evaluations as part of the selection process
  • Manage contractor/supplier work while on site at Eaton facilities and assure adherence to Eaton's Contractor Safety Program
  • Manage capital and expense spending withing approved budget amounts. Provide monthly spending projection updates and able to hit forecasted targets
  • Manage company assets including capitalization process as well as transfer and retirements.
  • Assist in the development of various project scenarios for comparison and evaluation which could include footprint expansion and facility consolidations

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Program Management, or a combination of Program Management with some Operations, OpEx, Manufacturing Engineering or Facilities experience
  • Five (5) years of work in a manufacturing environment
  • Three (3) years of experience in Risk Management and Business Continuity
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma Green/Black belt certification
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP) or equivalent
  • Experience with PROLaunch methodology
  • Experience with Eaton CAR process and definition of project business cases

Additional Information:

  • Experience managing complex program such as construction, production line moves, infrastructure build out.
  • Travel of up to 30% of time required for this position
