Production Supervisor- 2nd Shift

Eaton's Power Components Division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor- 2nd Shift. This is an on-site position based at our Beaver, PA facility. Second shift hours are 3:30PM-12:00AM.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote a Safety-First Culture
Champion workplace safety by implementing proactive programs and addressing concerns promptly to prevent incidents.

Operational Oversight
Manage manpower allocation, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and maintain 5S+ standards while achieving productivity goals.

Issue Resolution
Identify and report process or equipment issues, collaborating with appropriate teams for timely resolution.

Training & Development
Train, evaluate, and coach operators to enhance skills and performance through regular assessments and feedback.

Employee Relations
Foster positive working relationships, uphold labor contract provisions, and apply fair disciplinary actions when necessary.

Administrative Accuracy
Maintain precise records of attendance, performance, and departmental activities, including timely payroll processing.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing and/or operations environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing OR operations environment
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory/management experience

Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and implement change activities
  • Working knowledge of current manufacturing, engineering, materials management and quality assurance methods and practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate employees
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships at all levels in the organization
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and 5S
  • Lean/Six Sigma knowledge and understanding
