Production Planner Assistant

Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Production Planner Assistant.
The hourly rate for this position is $19.89 per hour. The hours for this shift are; 7:00 am - 3:45 pm.
This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do:
Primary Function
Assist in the planning and manufacturing area. Coordinate, follow up and expedite all planned and released MOs (Manufacturing Orders) on a daily basis until they are closed. Keep the ERP system of the assigned production lines updated. Enter and prepare daily reports.
Essential Functions
- Monitor, review and release production orders to make sure they are built on time.
- Use the ERP/MRP system to extract information and determine the promise dates of the manufacturing orders while setting the priorities.
- Responsible for Manufacturing Orders follow up with Manufacturing team.
- Execute actions to understand and solve the delay of released orders on the production floor.
- Leads efforts to find root causes and corrective actions when a situation of disruption to the Materials Planning process occurs.
- Implements continuous improvement in all processes and procedures established in their area of responsibility.
- Participation in daily manufacturing meetings.
- Effective and timely communication with production planners to ensure production support.
- Support shipping activities to ensure transactions and inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
Specialized Knowledge - Specialized knowledge Required
• GED or high school diploma, Associate degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• AS400, Power link, Excel, Microsoft office.
• Manufacturing and Supply Chain knowledge.
• Minimum of 6 months of Manufacturing or Operational support experience.
