As a Production Manager PCBA you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing PCBA operations, including production, testing, maintenance, material management and process compliance. Ensure operational efficiency, product quality, and continuous improvement within production lines. Additionally, the Production Manager PCBA will be responsible for implementing new production lines in the new campus, hiring and training operators as part of the new Dubai project.

What you'll do:

  • Manages operations to achieve specific performance indicators (productivity, costs, OTD, quality, health and safety, EHS objectives, employee engagement, and EBE). Ensure full compliance with EHS and MESH standards, promoting a safe and sustainable work enviroment.
  • Lead the setup of new production lines in the newly established campus, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and manufacturing requirements.
  • Actively participate on defining and implementing the layout, equipment selection, and workflow optimization for new production lines.
  • Ensure all new lines comply with industry-specific quality and safety standards.
  • Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and NPI teams to ensure a seamless transition to mass production.
  • Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and training for the new operators in PCBA area to support the new production lines.
  • Develop and implement training programs for operators and technical staff, ensuring competency and compliance.
  • Plan the creation and improvement of programs necessary for production (ex. Programs: laser, printing, component placement machine, ovens, testing, AOI).
  • Prepares the PCBA budget (planning) and ensures that objectives are met within the approved budget, schedules, and quality specifications.
  • Ensures efficient implementation of all logistics activities, particularly in materials management, controlling, logistics, and human resources management, through periodic meetings.
  • Develops a continuous learning environment, strengthens the team and fosters a high-performance culture.
  • Conducts regular meetings with subordinates to ensure communication of operational objectives and maintains periodic contact with employee representatives.
  • Ensures the implementation of Eaton Business System and Lean tools throughout the factory (5S+, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodology). Strives for world-class manufacturing standards, visual management, and cost productivity targets.
  • Provides accurate and timely operational reporting systems to monitor performance against objectives, using Eaton values and benchmark indicators.
  • Communicates and embodies Eaton's mission, vision, ethics, values, and philosophy across the organization.
  • Actively supports environmental, health, and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with local regulations, with a strong focus on quality and environmental aspects (EQS, MESH) and Quality Management according to ISO9000 and ISO14000 series.
  • Acts as a leader for improvement projects, participating as a core team member in extended PROLaunch teams. Provides support and guidance to project teams regarding customer concerns, potential scope changes, and risk assessment.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education.
  • minimum 5 years proven track record.

Skills:

  • Proven experience with SMT, PCBA production, and electronic assembly processes.
  • Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies (Certified Six Sigma Black Belt would be a plus).
  • Experience in managing high-mix, low-to-mid volume production environments.
    Proven experience in setting up new production lines (Greenfield projects) and workforce expansion.
  • Strong Analytical, Planning and Organizational Skills
  • This role requires strong influencing skills and ability to communicate effectively at senior level.
  • Working often in emotionally challenging circumstances the role requires both empathy and demonstration of managerial courage.
