The hourly rate for this position is $30.00 + 10% shift differential per hour per hour.

What you'll do:

Production Lead
Eaton's AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Production Lead.

What you'll do:
Responsible for communicating and coordinating with the production supervisor regarding specific production needs (part availability, equipment, production status, and schedule updates) to ensure on-time delivery. Perform the required activities within the confines of the systems and procedures and the certified operator system. Assist production supervisor with work cell performance (OTD, MDR

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Manage cell performance against production plans (parts, people, equipment)
• Support the Supervisor in the development of team and individual contributor training plans and the detailed information required to update the cross training and skillset development matrices.
• Follow written work instructions to perform manufacturing processes including assembly and testing. Verify results and visually inspect work to ensure conformance with requirements and perform rework as necessary.
• Support material movement including NCR's, scrap transactions and inventory transaction requests.
• Train and audit standard work and the adherence to the Certified Operator System including Oracle transactions within the cell to ensure compliance to processes.
• Lead cell performance management to include KPIs and performance management meetings
• Training matrix and special process certification maintenance
• Assist in developing production schedules and communicating floor team expectations
• Assist as needed to ensure adequate resources (assemblers, equipment) are available to meet product team production schedules
• Promote and participate in continuous improvement though lean manufacturing and six sigma initiatives
• Assist with coordination and execution of cross training of technicians within the floor team
• Maintain cell metrics and lead in 5S cell effort
• Assist in the development of new product and processes
• Lead daily cell meetings to balance resource alignment against schedule
• Responsible for ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 4 years Aerospace manufacturing experience OR 5 years of Military experience OR minimum 6 years of relevant Manufacturing experience
• Working knowledge of Company systems and procedures
• Proficiency in Oracle Operating System
• Working knowledge in Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing, One Piece Flow, and Continuous Improvement concepts

Preferred:

• Associates Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology
• Skills such as organization, communication, leadership, personal computing, capacity management, performance management, and auditing standard work
