Eaton's Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Production Coordinator in Chanhassen, MN!

The expected annual salary range for this role is $78,500 - $115,500 a year.

What you'll do:

Provide local support for our US InsulGard Manager with an emphasis on driving and growing the business while developing the processes to safely support continuous growth. In this role, you will:

• Schedule production to ensure proper staffing in order to plan and direct the manufacturing of orders for efficient and on-time delivery

• Become proficient at ERP software, PEDYN, based on Microsoft Access, by leveraging the software for sales order entries, shop order entries, item master, parts PO entries and managing inventory
• Effectively manage parts PO, and balance between long lead-time items and inventory level
• Establish lead time for customers. Conduct sales calls with sales personnel to promote plant products and services. Conduct tours when necessary.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the production and perform assembling and testing when necessary.
• Maintain high levels of quality in assigned areas of functional responsibilities. Coordinate warranty repair as needed, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Be responsible for safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for peers and within the regulations of all OSHA local and state regulations.
• Be responsible for maintenance of storeroom. Ensure that the inventory and expense parts are properly stock and organized.
• Work closely with company Operational Excellence personnel and teams to ensure the continuing application of quality standards and work processes.
• Recommend measures to improve production processes and machine performance as part of the continuous improvement process efforts.
• Forecast monthly and quarterly trade and Interunit sales.
• Assist in yearly calibration of test Equipment
• Be responsible for receiving of materials and aligning to scheduled orders
• Coordinate and report out monthly end inventory to accounting

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in a Technical or business disciple from an accredited institution
  • At least two years of Operations or Engineering experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • At least 1 year of experience planning and scheduling departmental workloads to support the manufacturing and financial objectives of the company.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Candidates must currently reside within a 50 mile radius of Chanhassen, MN. No relocation will be offered for this position. Active Military Service candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in Enovia, and Oracle (PO entry and Time keeper)
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
  • Strong scheduling and coordinating experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in Quality Systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Experience with SAP/Oracle or equivalent
