Production Control Associate -Manufacturing

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Production Control Associate -Manufacturing. The core hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is 28.32 per hour.

What you'll do:

  • Communicate and coordinate with production supervisors and planning teams to ensure schedule adherence and recovery if required.
  • Communicate frequently and proactively with customer service teams to meet or exceed customer expectations and establish effective relationships.
  • Actively prepare for and participate in the plant physical inventory.
  • Participate in lean daily management system activities and support the factory tier process as required.
  • Track progression of production orders, investigate factors that affect schedules, and modify plans as necessary.
  • Expedite critical orders throughout the supply chain.
  • Inform management of potential production problems and assist in the implementation of both short- and long-term solutions.
  • Attends production meetings to ensure that the production plan and customer requests are fulfilled.
  • Assists in determining and communicating recommit dates for customer orders.
  • Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 1 year of planning or scheduling experience within operations or supply chain function.
  • A minimum of 1 year working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three (3) + years of related experience within the supply chain function, preferably in planning/scheduling.
  • SAP business system experience.

  • Ability to read and write fluently in English.
  • Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to work with limited or no supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks along with excellent time management skills and customer service skills.
  • Ability to conceptualize, define and resolve complex problems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and facilitation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to effectively interface with production, customer service, and management.
