Product Manager - Measurement and EV Chargers

The Circuit Protection, and Controls (CPC) Division at Eaton Electrical reflects a long tradition of creating solutions that enhance electrical safety, reliability, code compliance and efficient power distribution in alternative energy, commercial, industrial, and mining operations. These include circuit breakers, vacuum interrupters, fuses, and fuse holders.

We are looking to hire a Product Manager to grow the Test and Measure, Metering and EV Charger portfolios within the Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) market. This will focus on liaising with factory design teams in developing the product portfolio to align with local compliance and market needs.

This is a great opportunity for a sales or product engineer looking to harness their technical knowledge in the measurement and EV Charging space to manage a portfolio.

Key Duties:

  • Manage defined product lines to assist sales in achieving profit plan sales, price, profitability and growth objectives
  • Develop strategies to enter new markets and to grow market share in existing markets including Customer Value Propositions.
  • Trains the sales team(s) to select and offer the correct products for various applications.
  • Provide technical support to the sales teams and customers.
  • Forecast and control inventory to ensure there is satisfactory stock to satisfy sales demand whilst keeping stock turns to plan.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Produce and maintain price lists and marketing material.
  • Assist sales in tender responses.
  • Conduct competitor intelligence including market share analysis and reporting
  • Ensure our products are aligned to AS/NZS and IEC Compliance

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of technical experience within Electrical Product Management or Sales Engineering preferably in test and measurement equipment or EV Charges
  • Strong understanding of channels to market within the electrical industry.
  • Understanding of the configuration of measurement devices preferable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering or a trade qualification as an electrician would be highly regarded.
