What you'll do:
Job Summary
The Value Stream Buyer / Planner will support all tactical buying and planning responsibilities in support of assigned value stream products for the Reynosa Filtration plant. With the support of the Materials Value Stream Senior Analyst, primary duties will include, but are not limited to: PO issuance and management, work order scheduling and management, freight / logistics coordination, soliciting RFQs, resolving discrepancies / gaps with internal and external partners and expediting.
Job Responsibilities
The position will be responsible for assisting the SCM Manager with all activities to support the organization development, all Training initiatives and SCM measurements in purpose of supporting substantial business growth as well as comply with the requirements by ISO/TS, OpA, Lean initiatives, 5's, STPS regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Buying and planning responsibilities within assigned value stream
- Responsible for all RFQs, POs, logistics and expediting of value stream materials
- Maintain inventory and service levels required to support value stream materials strategy and organization objectives
- Responsible for daily MRP runs, line scheduling, work order issuance / management, PO issuance / management, expediting
- Ensure compliance of production schedule to requirements and value stream SIOP - daily follow-up with internal and external suppliers and others
- Accountable for ongoing supplier performance / management; ensure supplier compliance to ongoing requirements; manage ongoing performance gaps to closure
- Manage inbound freight with suppliers in compliance with FILT freight policy and minimizing total landed cost
- Provide support on NPD, general new part introduction process and ongoing strategic sourcing efforts; take leading role in ensuring internal and external suppliers are properly integrated into projects
- Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
Education level required
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Operations or Supply Chain Management
Years and area of experience required
1-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an industrial setting; prior plant experience preferred (Desirable)
Technical knowledge
Fluency in English and Spanish a must
