Performance and Learning Consultant
Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Performance and Learning Consultant. This position can be based anywhere in the U.S. with a preference for candidates in the Pittsburgh/Cleveland markets.
The Performance and Learning Consultant will perform duties for multiple learning solution design and development projects, often incorporating blended solutions.They will provide guidance on learning activities, make connections between different development avenues and design and develop material related to training--especially related to digital upskilling in the organization. Projects could include combinations of face-to-face instructor led training, eLearning, virtual instructor led training, job aids, participant and facilitator materials, innovation solutions, library services, and more. Consultant will curate content, manage vendors, and create learning solutions to meet needs. Consultant will ensure that projects are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and satisfy the objective.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year.

What you'll do:
Job Responsibilities
- Leads projects related to diagnostics and needs assessments, curation, design and development and may sometimes include facilitation of learning solution.
- Leads projects using proven management techniques, by developing and managing project plans that are created in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Leads global internal (Learning Support Team) and external vendor project team members to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with stakeholder expectations.
- Furthers learning culture at Eaton by partnering with stakeholders to further awareness and adoption of key learning activities and avenues. Curates learning solutions to move leadership development and culture forward and helps establish effectiveness metrics for each solution.
- Tracks, manages and communicates metrics associated with key activities, curriculums, functional colleges, internal certification programs as well as individual training projects.
- Participates in, and contributes to external benchmarking as well as best practice sharing.
- Coordinate deployment and any communication associated with learning solution program with Learning & Culture Ops Team.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or business or relevant degree from accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR or Business
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree, preferably in field related to learning technology
- 7+ years of experience in HR or Business preferred
- Experience working in a global matrixed environment, leading cross-functional projects and managing company-wide programs
- Familiarity with evidence-based instructional and design research, design thinking for innovation, AI & Digital Learning Innovation.
- Familiarity and/or experience with program management tools, content management systems, learning management systems, translation processes, content authoring and instructional design tools.
Skills:
Technical knowledge:
- Instructional design and adult learning theory skills.
- Familiarity with processes related to skill identification and skill gap analysis.
- Experience with digital transformations and technical upskilling.
- Experience with performance analysis tools and techniques (e.g., needs analysis, root cause analysis, flow charting/ process mapping, job roles and responsibilities mapping, developing performance measures, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to present and utilize metrics.
Soft skills:
- Communication skills, emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, problem solving, and leading through ambiguity.
