What you'll do:

Job Summary
Responsible for providing advanced technical-commercial support to the Sales organization through the development of accurate project budgets and configuration (pick development) using Eaton BidManager. The role combines strong electrical engineering knowledge with software development and programming orientation, enabling the design, customization, and maintenance of pick logic and configuration rules using PickWorkbench and related development tools, as well as the use of standard software development platforms such as Visual Studio, version control through commits, and agile project management tools like Jira. The position ensures that project quotations are technically compliant, cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with Eaton pricing, margin, delivery, and digital configuration standards for low and medium voltage electrical solutions across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Job Responsibilities
A. Analyze electrical drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents to develop complete bills of materials and technical configurations for projects involving low and medium voltage equipment (panelboards, switchboards, MCCs, MV switchgear, transformers, power quality solutions, among others).
B. Develop, configure, and maintain project solutions using Eaton BidManager, including pick development and rule logic creation in PickWorkbench to support accurate and automated product configuration.
C. Design, test, and optimize configuration logic, pricing rules, dependencies, and constraints to ensure reliable and scalable BidManager picks aligned with Eaton product strategies.
D. Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets by using Eaton quotation tools and coordinating with Eaton manufacturing plants, engineering teams, and approved external suppliers.
E. Establish initial pricing levels in accordance with corporate pricing guidelines, project size, sales channel, and project phase (budgetary, feasibility, tender, execution).
F. Support negotiations related to product costs, delivery lead times, and technical alternatives to achieve optimal cost-benefit solutions for customers.
G. Maintain strong technical knowledge of Eaton's product portfolio and digital configuration architecture to provide value-engineered alternatives, technical clarifications, and differentiation strategies in a competitive market.
H. Provide technical, digital, and commercial handover support to Project Management, Order Entry, and IT/Tools teams, ensuring alignment between quotation scope, configuration logic, and ERP execution.
I. Support the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of part numbers, configuration models, pick logic, and special assemblies related to project and product requirements.
J. Collaborate with engineering, digital, and product management teams to deliver technical documentation, drawings, material lists, and configuration rules required for local manufacturing, engineered-to-order solutions, or global deployment.
K. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to BidManager, PickWorkbench, configuration accuracy, automation, and software development best practices.
L. Ensure compliance with Eaton policies related to Occupational Health, Environmental Management Systems, ISO standards, and internal digital governance."
